We
are currently looking for:
Website Manager
Must be proficient in Photoshop, Fireworks or Paint Shop Pro, understand File Transfer Protocol programs and have access to email and the internet. Must be organized and work well independently and as part of a team. Reports to Executive Producer.
Jobs include:
- Contest Management: Assist in the the selection of contest winners, working with managing editor to develop new contests and notifying winners (Featured Pooch Profile, Breed Quiz, Monthly Contest and Whose Dog Is This Anyway).
- Newsletter: Update and send out monthly newsletter in Constant Contact.
- Support Email: Receive and resolve user email focusing on support issues.
- Monthly Updates: Follow-up with webmaster and Managing Editor on monthly updates.
- Administrative Assistant: Assist Executive Producer with new initiatives and tasks.
- Team Leader: Regularly correspond with team regarding new website initiatives, etc.
10+ hours per month required. Must have broadband internet connection and be able to maintain regular email correspondence with Executive Producer.
Web Coordinator
Must be proficient in Photoshop, Fireworks or Paint Shop Pro, understand File Transfer Protocol programs and have access to email and the internet. Reports to Webmaster. Jobs include maintaining Dog Park database through web interface, graphics program and FTP. Must be able to work independently. 5-10 hours per month.
Internet Researcher
A great way to spend a few hours each week helping out, learning
about dogs and having fun! 3-5 hours per month.
Contributing Editors
Love to write about dogs and the funny things that they do?
Do you have excellent writing skills and are looking for somewhere
to show them off? We are always on the look-out for writers
to contribute to our web site.
