(Fairfax, VA) June 1, 2001--DoggieFun.com (www.doggiefun.com), a Web site for dog owners and dog lovers, officially launched its improved Dog Park Photo Gallery today, as part of a suite of enhancements made to the popular online community.

The site's largest attraction, the Dog Park Photo Gallery, contains over 1,200 photos of dogs, submitted by site visitors. Using a simple template, DoggieFun.com visitors can upload a photo of their canine pal to the site. Now, new improvements to the Dog Park Photo Gallery database let visitors conduct a quick and easy search for photos of their dogs, or others, by breed, city, state, country, and dog name. These improvements also allow DoggiePark.com staff members to post photos more efficiently, meaning visitors will see their contributions on the Web faster than before.

"The initial success of the Dog Park Photo Gallery made us reevaluate our procedures for posting photos. The strides we've made recently will help us be more responsive to our visitors and permit us to keep up with the increasing number of daily requests to put pooches online," said DoggieFun.com's Executive Producer, Beth Jackson.

DoggieFun.com users will also enjoy a number of other enhancements, aimed to satisfy the needs of the site's nearly 50,000 unique visitors each month. Additional security features have been added to the "Pooch of the Month" contest, which draws nearly 10,000 votes each month. You can vote for your dog, and track the results all from the Dog Park section of the site.
