Greyhounds
are the fastest dogs in the world. They are sweet and gentle
and do well in quiet households. Adopted retired racers adapt
very will in a loving home. They were used for hunting over
4,000 years ago. Traders from the Middle East probably introduced
greyhounds to Europe around A.D. 900.
