At our house, spring has sprung! Beautiful days and more time out in the yard has made it clearer then ever that our Puggle needs a hobby! After seeing a bit of the newest Superdogs show, we're both dying to try out agility.

The Superdogs are more than your average agility group. They've taken the obstacle course and in their words, "added a little Cirque de Soleil, a little Disney and a dash of Harlem Globetrotters."

Superdogs have been the marquee attraction for 30 consecutive years at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver and have performed at many major exhibitions and fairs across North America. During that time, they have also been the feature attraction at international events such as the Royal Horse Show in Toronto, the National Horse Show in New York, the National Western Stock Show in Denver, and the Royal Agricultural Fair in Bermuda. In Puerto Rico, where the show was produced in Spanish, they are lovingly known as "Los SuperPeros de Canada".

Over the years many famous and important fans have cheered and honored the Superdogs with their presence. Prince Philip - the Duke of Edinborough, Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, Sarah Ferguson - the Duchess of York, Pavaratti, Richard Gere, Rick Hanson, Viki Gabereau, and Rick Mercer are just a few who have taken in the fun and delight of a Superdogs experience.

Putting together fantastic shows filled with fun music, great agility challenges and a ton of doggy personality - each year, more than 150 trainers and 400 Superdogs help to "raise the Woof" all across North America - is no easy task when you consider that every year the show is completely new from start to finish. With thrilling, exciting and surprising spectacles such as the Wizard of Paws, Hollywoof, Star Woofs, Woof Rock 'n Roll, SuperDisco/Superdogs, these talented canines have helped to bring agility into the homes and hearts of people all over the world.

The newest Superdogs show, El Festiva is now on tour. Below are just a few of its talented stars.

TADPOLE
She loves to give the crowd a "High Five" as a welcome to the show. This talented and always popular English Staffordshire terrier excels at snatching flying saucers in mid-air and doing the Twist.

SLIDER
Slider loves to dance to music with her BFF Sue. Slider and Sue are the Superdog version of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers!

SPRINT
A beautiful Whippet-Borzoi cross that must have jet engines in its pedigree. As one of the highest jumping dogs in the world, this star performer lives to fly higher and higher.

BELLA
Most Saint Bernard owners are happy if their dogs can walk correctly. Running is a bonus! But a versatile performer such as Bella is a rarity. She performs with the agility of a border collie and disguises her 140 pounds to perfection.

POT ROAST
What can you say about a bulldog that always steals the show? And it's not because of his speed! Only his special owner and trainer Joan knows what buttons to push to make Pot Roast do a perfect 'reverse'.

El Festiva is currently touring across North America. If you haven't been to a Superdogs show, check out their website at www.Superdogs.com for a complete schedule. They just might be visiting a town near you.
