Travel New Hampshire
The state motto is “Live Free or Die.” Everyone I’ve ever met from New Hampshire takes their state motto to heart. They also love their dogs. Right about now you’re probably planning a fall getaway to check out the colorful leaves, or a winter ski trip in the New England mountains.

Travel with Southern Charm
If you've ever traveled in the southeastern part of the U.S., you know that in most cities in the Deep South, the charming, antebellum, plantation style home is the norm rather than the exception. I, for one love that about the South. I also love that good old-fashioned southern hospitality that I've encountered on every trip I've ever taken south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Pennsylvania
Thanksgiving is almost here and I can never get through this season without thinking of the song, "Over the River and Through the Woods." Every year when my kids were little my family would load up the SUV and make the 600-plus-mile-trip from Long Island, across snowy Pennsylvania, through the mountains to Ohio to visit grandma. Nobody likes visiting grandma better than our dog because it means a really long "bye-bye-in-the-car" and she loves being in the car.

Head Northwest With Your Pet - Visit Seattle
The city of Seattle is the largest in the Pacific Northwest. Known as the so called "Rainy City", Seattle is home to some of the top landmarks as well as major coffee companies, including Starbucks and Seattle's Best Coffee. Traveling with your pet throughout the city is made simple as well behaved pets are allowed on trains, buses and even ferries.

Paris in the Springtime
I have to say, the French give dogs a lot of respect. Parisian dogs don't just live the warm and cozy life of le chien du divon, the most common mutt gets more consistent welcome than celebrity dogs do in the United States. Walking down the street, you can bet you will inevitably see dogs greeted with exuberant smiles and squeals of "Chou chou! Chou chou!" before the human holding the leash has even had a chance to make eye contact. In most every store and newsstand, if you aren't greeted with a sniff and a wag, you can bet there's a dog snoozing behind the counter. A hotel that allows dogs? You mean there are ones that don't? How bizarre!
