Become
a Critique Sponsor |
We would like to
extend an invitation to manufacturers and retailers of canine products
and treats to participate in our Canine Critique Program. Sponsors
provide their products to be tested and rated by our "critics"
(dogs that have fulfilled a designated criteria and have agreed to
provide requested information).
Critics will be matched up by our staff using the
following criteria:
- The product
must be suitable for the dog tester (size, age, chewing power,
appetite, etc).
Product must be used for a pre-determined length of time by the
same dog in the same household.
- The owner
must submit 2-3 photos of the dog testing the product.
- The owner
must complete an online questionnaire at the end of the testing
period detailing the dog's reaction to the product, whether to
product was durable, was it desirable, etc.
- At this time
we are only accepting applications for dog owners in the United
States.
WHAT
ARE THE BENEFITS?
For participating, the sponsor receives:
- Your logo placed in a rotation on our homepage for
one month while the results are posted.
- A link to
your website where users can purchase the test product.
- An independent
source for you to reference when advertising/marketing the product.
- An advertisement
in our Rover Review newsletter the month of the results (4500+
recipients)
- All results
are archived so that they are readily available to the sponsor
at any time.
- Exposure,
exposure, exposure! We receive over 50,000 unique visitors to
our website per month.
The only thing
we ask of you is to agree to ship the products to our critics. All
critics are located in the U.S. In order to sign-up, please complete
our online sponsorship form below. Tell us about the products that
you would like to contribute. You will be asked to provide 5 samples of each product for testing.
We will assign different types of dogs to test the same product
and report the results.
Once we receive
your sponsorship form, we will e-mail an agreement outlining the
benefits you will receive and what we expect from you. You will
be asked to print and sign the agreement and fax it back to us (fax

Once received your agreement,
we'll let you know of your schedule and send you a list of approved
critics.
